I lost my password or couldn’t remember my log in or something along those lines. The setup of my database was a little screwy and so getting the information back was a pain and I’ve just had way too much going on to care about trying. People still follow and comment to my videos on Youtube like 2 years later. That is pretty amazing, huh? I thought it was time to give a real try at getting back into my blog and here I finally am!

I’ve been playing RIFT! Yes! The first worthwhile game to hit the market in what feels like IONS! I might even change the name of my blog to RIFTGURL! Yeah! But maybe not right away, I’ll have to see if it still has that nice and shiny new Rift smell in a month or two. I am going to work on getting some new videos made – if the old screen recorders still work and get back into business. I’ve been spending too much time trying to be responsible and doing more ‘worthwhile’ things that ended up getting me absolutely nowhere and were not near as fun…so…back to what I know and love…teh video games.

Now, back to those damn comments *grumble*

Ok, so things have finally calmed down around here. Wow has been getting on my nerves lately as it seems 75% of the community have turned into douchebags. So I’ve been hunting around for a new MMO. Honestly nothing that is out right now is that spectacular. I have been wasting time in WoW, and dabbling with other games like Runes of Magic, Ryzom, etc etc.

What I REALLY want to play is Final Fantasy XIV! Secret World and TERA follow closely behind, OH YEAH, and Heroes of Telara too! And of course I haven’t gotten into any of the betas

Oh well, soon enough. BTW, it’s my birthday today ;D It was a good day ^^ Video will be posted after this one.

Why hello everyone – or anyone who still pays attention to this blog – I didn’t realize it had been since April that I last posted..but it makes sense. I got pregnant in April…and felt like crap for a good 3 months…after that I just didn’t feel much like playing mmos. Nothing really good had come out..Aion was a flop (to me at least), Champions Online went the way of the dodo.

Then Blizzcon came and I heard about their new expansion Cataclysm. I’m sure most of you have heard of it by now if you follow WoW at all. The idea of the old world being remodeled was definitely appealing to me and I found myself playing WoW again. I started a new class (mage) and that has been working pretty well for me.

The thing that made me think about this site though, was that I’ve finally started raiding again. Having to look up raid strategies on youtube and wondering about builds/stats/etc. Kind of made me think more about using my site again. Although the baby is due to come any day now for the next 2 weeks so I’m not sure how much work I’ll actually get done. But I wanted to make some videos and shit. We’ll see how it goes…this is my first baby..so I’ll probably have my hands full! But eventually I’d like to get some content up covering the raids and especially the Lich King’s downfall!

So, Aion has kind of kick-started me into mmorpgs again. -_- Good for you guys! Bad for me! Haha..oh well, I’ve been amazed to see that my videos on Youtube are STILL generating a lot of comments, messages, and subscriptions. It’s kind of been a constant reminder as I see the alerts in my email daily almost. Since Aion only lets me play for 2.5 hours before giving me experience halfage, and since I can’t see having more than 2 accounts, and even worse, once open beta is over, whenever that is, i won’t be able to play Aion again til like September I think it is now for the USA? So, I’ve been dabbling in MMOS again to keep myself busy.

I hit up WoW again, which…is still utterly boring. I wanted to try a new server and a pvp server at that with a brand new character. But I just can’t see leveling another char! So maybe if I do decide to do that I will just transer one of my many 70′s over and just do Northrend again. I also picked up EQ2 again, but it’s about just as lackluster as WoW is looking to me. I should have known better. I mean – it’s not bad really, but I just want something entirely new. I think that Wow style gaming shit is just old and unfortunately EQ2 is like a mirror.

So, I’m downloading Eve right now, they actually just came out with a new avatar creation in March, so that will be a big plus for me, but otherwise, I’m pretty much and EVE virgin. I’m liking the idea of sandbox though. I’m also thinking about picking up Sword of the New World again to see how they’re coming along..also, I did check into RF Online awhile back and sadly, there have been no major changes on the lowbie end, and since I wasn’t able to keep my original character, well – it wasn’t worth it to me to level up again..so OH WELL!

I’m planning on getting a new mic soon so I can get some new vids out..thinking Aion, EQ2, EVE, and SOTNW

So it’s actually working! English patch and all! Now here’s another tidbit of info. According to many posts I’ve read, the Chinese OBT has a 5 hour time limit per account. I’m not sure if this is 5 hours per day or if it’s 5 hours then you wait 5 hours and then you can play again.  5 hours is more than enough time for me though because god damn I’ve been waiting for this game for a LONG time! And I was unable to even get an account with the Korean OBT. Woo Excited-ness!

So after a long ass break – I’m back (for now at least). It’s been awhile since I’ve really gotten into an MMO – and recently I started to get that tick again – so here I am. I was actually playing a little LOTRO on the DL, but recently news that Aion has recently gone into open beta in China, has come to my attention and holy damn I couldn’t resist trying.

Page 10 has an English pack although I’m not entirely sure if it works right now. I’m still updating the client as I speak. So if you’ve got some time to kill on this beautiful Sunday morning, then give it a shot!

Nothing new for me really. There’s a neat little “Valentine’s day” event going on in Warhammer. It’s one of their new Live Event thingies where you basically do all this crap and get a title. I’m sure there’s a V-day event going on most every MMO. I know WoW has one going. I’ve been painting a lot, and I also just recently got Silent Hill Homecoming, which I know, ISN’T an MMO. WTF?! It’s a pretty fun game, but pretty difficult combat.

On the MMO Road I have to say I’m just a little dissapointed in the mainstream crap of MMOs in the market today. I have downloaded about a million MMOs within the past week trying to find something new and innovative, and they all just kind of suck.

I tried Florensia, Rohan, Runes of Magic, Vanguard, RF Online, Guild Wars, the new Shin Megami Tensei mmo, Lunia, what else? I know there must be more? I tried downloading 4story and the download files didn’t work. YAY! Anyway, I think the point is, that unless these damn companies stray from the norm, I think I’m about to get sick of MMOs. I mean really, what’s so great about leveling a character up the same way on a different game, millions of times. You got to give people more variety! There are neat little things they incorporate into games, but it needs to be something more then just a “neat little thing” it needs to be something big! I’m sick of running around and questing. Absolutely sick of it. Which is perhaps why I still play Warhammer out of all the other MMOs, because I can just pvp and level and not have to quest if I don’t want to. Questing is just lame. Grinding is lame. Please incorporate a better way to level, or get rid of levels completely. / emo lol

So none of my new MMO searches have been fruitful and I have found myself going back to Warhammer. That damn hubby! I’m playing a Witch Hunter now – and I do sort of like it..but I want a game with more than just damn pvp! I want a house…and good crafting…and…more stuff!

Stupid Darkfall gets pushed back AGAIN and is too damn snobby with who they let in for their trials…wahh! So yeah, life has been kind of blah in the MMO world as of late and I’ve been painting more and more. but kind of
